servesasthecompany’sprimarypointofentryanddeliveryfollowup.Membersofthedepartmentworkcloselywiththesuppliersonadailybasisandactasaliaisonbetweenthesuppliers,theBuyingteamandteammembers(PD/developer/technician).
KeyResponsibilities
-SupporttheBuyingteamthroughPOdeliveriesandconfirmations
-Responsibleforthemajorityofcommunicationwithsupplierswhenitcomestimetoconfirmthedeliveries.
-ManageandcoordinatepurchaseorderprocesswithsuppliersPerformdeliveryfollow-upwithsuppliersandcoordinatedeliverieswithfreightforwarders
-Productionscheduletracingandmonitoring.Keepupdatinginformationtothewholeteam,makesureentireliaisonworkingfluently.
-CoordinatewithFinancedepartmenttoresolvepricingdiscrepancies
-Followupwithsuppliersandforwardersondeliveries
-Workcloselywithfreightforwardersandcustoms(Internationalandlocal)
-DailycommunicationwithourPDdepartmentonanyproductionissues.
