PositionOverview:

Moreover,theITsupportisresponsibletoprovideassistancetofaculty,studentsandstaffbyansweringquestions,resolvingtechnicalproblemsandmaintainingacampuswidenetwork,softwareandcomputerequipmentoperational.ITactivitiesmayincludemonitoringITsystemstoensuretheyarerunningeffectively,providingend-usersupporttoallstaffandinstallingnewsoftwareupdatesorrenewingout-of-datehardware.AneffectiveITsupportwillalsobeabletoprovideclearexplanationsofdifficultiesandsolutionstomanagementteam.Managing3rdpartysupportaswellascoordinatingandcommunicatingamongpartiesinordertoensurethesmoothrunningofITfunctionsonthewholecampus.

EssentialDuties:

?Plan,directandmanagethedailyoperationsoftheITdepartmentinaccordancewithinternalandexternalregulationsandprocedures(DKUITGovernance).

?ManageITstaffthroughtraining,developmentandperformancemanagementtomaximizetheteam’svaluetositeprocesses.

?Evaluateadvancementsinthehigheducationfieldandimplementnewtechnologiesthatbetterserveourschoolneeds.

?Recommendappropriatemaintenancestrategiestoensureuninterruptedsystemsusageandproperbackupandrecoveryprocedurestomaintaincurrentandfutureteachingclassroomrequirements.

?ManageacomprehensiveandproactiveITCompliancestrategyaccordancetoDKUITpolicy.

?ContinuallyanalyzeandassesspotentialITsecurityrisks,developplanstodealwithsuchincidentsbyputtingmeasuresinplacesuchasmonitoringandauditingsystemsforabnormalactivity,andexecutingcorrectiveactions.

?EnsurestrongalignmentandsynergieswithITpracticesandpoliciesbetweenDukeandDKU.

?YouwillensurereliableandsmoothoperationofallsiteITinfrastructurefora24x7commercialmanufacturingfacilityinthesite,includinginfrastructurerelatedhardware/software,ESXVirtualization,SANstorage,VMWare,BackupandRecovery,andthemonitoringprocess.

?ResponsibleformanagingandsupportingtheinfrastructuresiteincludingNetwork,Wireless,ESXhostingenvironment,servers(virtualandphysical),andBackupandDisasterRecoverysystem.

?ResponsibleforsupportingtheITRegionalSiteHeadtoassesscurrentsiteISarchitecture/infrastructure,andservicestoensureappropriatealignmentwiththeorganization.

?ResponsibleforleadingandsupportingITsiterelatedproblemsandincidents,andfollowupuntilrootcauseidentificationandproblemsolved.

?Contributetothesiteprojectroadmapdefinitionandimplementationtoalignwithbusinessstrategyandprocesses.

?ManageITresourcesand/orcontractorsincludingonsiteservicesupporttechnicians.

工作职责:

1、根据公司发展战略,制定年度集团信息化建设的运作规划,设立信息中心年度工作目标、预算及行动方案,并对执行效果负责;
