InternalAudit&ComplianceManagerJobdescription

TherolewillhaveadualreportinglinetotheAPGeneralManagerbasedinJapanandtheBusinessAssuranceManagerbasedintheUK.TherolewillbebasedinSuzhouwithresponsibilitiesacrosstheAsiaPacificregion;China,India,KoreaandJapan.TheInternalAudit&ComplianceManagerwillberesponsibleformanagingcomplianceissuesacrossthebusinessandassessingpotentialrisks;ensuringthattheinternalcontrolsaresufficientandappropriate;ensuringthatthecompanyisalwayscompliantwithitslegalandGroupobligations.

Thecomplianceteamisateamofthree,withasecondteammemberbasedinIndiaandathirdwithinourclients’Shanghaiwarehouse.Theroleisresponsibleforco-ordinatinganddirectingtheactivitiesofthewholeteam.Itwillberesponsibleformanagingtheauditprocess,workingcloselywiththebusinesstomitigaterisk,proposingsuitablesolutionsandmonitoringtheprogressoftheirintroduction.

TheInternalAudit&ComplianceManagermustbeaself-motivatedindividual,capableofmaintainingthehigheststandardsofprofessionalism.Theymustactindependentlybutbeabletoworkalongsidetheotherbusinessareas,basedatdifferentsitesandinothercountries.Goodcommunicationskillsarethereforeanecessityforcontactwithinthebusinessbutalsowithexternalstakeholderswhichmayincludeclients,legalorauditfirmsorgovernmentdepartments.

PrimaryResponsibilities

Forinternalaudit:

?Performanannualriskassessment

?Developanauditplanprogrambasedontheauditriskassessment

?Draftauditprogramsthatincludeidentificationofrisks,controlsandfraudindicators

?Participateinspecialprojects,investigationsorad-hocassignmentsasneededConductongoingaudits,identifycriticalcontrolissuesandrecommendcorrectiveactions.Beabletopresentsuggestionsforprocessimprovements,associatedcorrectiveactionaswellasevaluatingthetimelinessoftheproposedremedialactions

?Preparedraftauditreportswithdocumentedbackground,objectives,findingsandrecommendations

?Performfollow-uprelatedtoauditfindings

Jobdescription
